After seven episodes, the eighth and final episode for Season 2 of "Reacher" will be available on Prime Video this week.
In the first seven episodes, which have already been released and are able to stream on Prime Video, the show's hero and namesake, Jack Reacher, was tasked with solving a series of strange new murders. Unlike the first season, episodes have been rolling out over the span of several weeks rather than dropped all at once on the streaming platform.
The show is based on Lee Child's best-selling book series of the same name. Season 1 is based on the first "Reacher" novel, "Killing Floor," where Jack Reacher is framed for a small-town murder. Set two years later, Season 2 was based on "Bad Luck and Trouble," the 11th book in the series.
Alan Ritchson stars as Jack Reacher, a veteran military police investigator who becomes embroiled in a series of conspiracies and investigations.
Here's what to know about the season finale.
Like the first season, Season 2 of "Reacher" is eight episodes long. The first three episode premiered Dec. 15, with subsequent episodes released one at a time the following weeks.
Episode 8, titled "Fly Boy," will be released as early as Thursday, Jan. 18 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT, according to Prime Video.
Both Seasons 1 and 2 of "Reacher" are available to stream on Prime Video. The show is an Amazon Original.
Prime Video is also offering fans the chance to join in on a virtual watch party experience for the finale. The event starts Friday at 8 p.m. ET and you can register online here.
